Prerequisites: PSEE 211, GSBP 200, or GSBP 331. During this course, students become aware of all types of exceptional children. Appropriate intervention strategies for effective teaching of exceptional children are emphasized.

Reading Assessment & Remediation - (Summer DE)
This course requires an enrollment key

Prerequisites: PSEE 392. Students in this course learn procedures for the diagnosis and correction of reading difficulties. Remediation techniques, which are appropriate for classroom teachers are presented. Each student utilizes these techniques in a weekly tutorial practicum.

Reading in Content Area - PSEE 461 DE
This course requires an enrollment key

Prerequisite: Admission to education program and PSEE 211. This course prepares the secondary teacher in reading instruction. Identification of reading problems and methods of correction are discussed.
